Wimbledon 4X4 Staff Profiles![]() Alan RobbAftersales ManagerAs our Aftersales manager, Alan is relatively new to the Wimbledon Group, having joined us in October 2007. Coming from such esteemed brands such as Lamborghini, Bentley, Ascari and Koenigsegg, Alan has brought an attention to detail to customer service that will please even the most demanding of clients, regardless of environment or cost. He was fortunate enough to become the Customer Service Manager for the UK’s only dedicated Lamborghini and Koenigsegg service centre. Following this successful project, he left to work for a prestigious Bentley dealer in Berkshire, where he not only oversaw a turnaround in quality and customer satisfaction to a level one would expect from such a prestigious brand, but he also helped open a supercar centre of excellence, becoming the only Aftersales Manager for Ascari, Koenigsegg and Spyker in the UK. Bringing such valuable lessons and processes to Wimbledon 4X4, Alan and his team will provide you with an experience that will exceed your expectations, regardless of whom your previous service provider has been. Please feel free to contact Alan, either on 0208 543 4321, or you can email him direct on; Alan@wimbledongroup.co.uk He is always happy to spare time to discuss your service requirements, or just talk about cars.
Scott AnstissParts ManagerAs our Parts Manager, Scott is responsible for ensuring the smooth supply of all parts requirements to allow our workshop to continually operate. This means more than just handing out oil and filters for services, as the higher standard of attention to detail we have applied to our work sees to it that we think of every eventuality and requirement that we may come across. From wiper blades that may need changing, to clutches for Lamborghinis, we believe that a parts supply problem only adds to the inconvenience to you of having your car worked on, as well as creating delays in the workshop, so Scott has joined us to be one step ahead of the game and minimise the disruption. Coming from a body shop background, where he qualified as a body shop estimator, he then transferred to the VW group at Chiswick, where he successfully became the Parts Manager of a £ 3 million turnover department supplying both his workshop and the trade alike. Coming on board right at the start of our transition to Land Rover and High Performance cars gave Scott the chance to build his department from scratch, an opportunity that rarely exists to do things right, the way you want them, straight from the start. Scott is always available to discuss any Parts enquires you may have, so please feel free to contact him on 0208 543 4321 or email him at scott@wimbledon4x4.co.uk Jodie HallSenior Service AdvisorJodie is our Senior Service Advisor, and has been part of the Wimbledon Group for the last 2 years. She started her career in the motor trade with BMW in Kennington, where she attended as many BMW customer care courses as she could. She then left BMW and joined the VW group at Morden, again as a service advisor. She joined The Wimbledon Group with a view to grow and develop into the senior role she now holds. As a Wimbledon girl, Jodie is justifiably proud to be part of a local service team, and this reflects in her can do attitude and approach in working together for the good of our customers. Please feel free to contact Jodie regarding any requirements you may have, either by phone on 0208 543 4321, or email service@wimbledon4X4.co.uk She would be only too happy to hear from you. Thomas VarneyService AdvisorThomas is the youngest member of our team, and through working closely with Jodie, Tom is gaining an understanding of just how important a role that of the service advisor is. Growing within the team, Tom is gaining in confidence, and carving his own relationships with customers who appreciate his enthusiasm and passion for cars. Tom has expressed his excitement about working with Land Rover, and being trained to understand his role in the big scheme of things, and we are proud to have someone as capable and hard working as Tom as part of our team.Tom can be contacted on 0208 543 4321, or through email on service@wimbledon4x4.co.uk. Mark WebberWorkshop ManagerAs our Workshop Manager, Mark is responsible for all of the technicians and their safety and conduct in the workshop, and as such he is instrumental in the smooth running of the day to day operation. Working closely with Alan Robb, Mark has been given the opportunity and support to develop his role and ideas within the company. He is excited about continuing to develop his knowledge and experience further, and is relishing the challenge of becoming Land Rover and Range Rover authorised, so he can deal with warranty repairs and servicing the Land Rover way.As the workshop’s manager, Mark is proud that his technician team always attempt to offer the highest level of customer service, and those regular customers amongst you will be familiar with his friendly approach and the way he will bend over backwards to help. Mark has had the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious cars, and his vast experience of all makes and models makes him ideal for the role he now fills. Mark is contactable through service reception on 0208 543 4321, and would only be too happy to discuss any requirements or concerns that need a more technical point of view. Jeandre GiliomeeTechnicianJeandre is perhaps the most well travelled of our team, being more like Indiana Jones than any of the rest of us. Coming from South Africa, Jeandre has a vast wealth of experience in dealing with Land Rovers and Range Rovers in their natural environment, having left Land Rover Johannesburg, where he worked for over 5 years as a technician, to set up his own mobile repair service to reach far flung off places where recovery to a main dealer was just impractical. This gave Jeandre outside of the box experience when it comes to the up keep of vehicles, as he had to call on his engineering expertise when faced with repairs that required parts that were hours away. Fortunately, he finds that the parts department here doesn’t suffer from a lack of supply, and is only a short walk across the workshop, so he is free to turn his skills into quality work, enjoying the more major jobs such as clutches and head gaskets. As part of our technician team, Jeandre is only too happy to discuss your service requirements in person upon drop off or collection of your vehicle.Dean SmithSupercar TechnicianDean has come to Wimbledon 4x4 with the sort of experience that most of us can only dream about. Fortunate enough to get on the apprentice scheme within the HR Owen group, Dean was chosen as the Ferrari and Maserati student due to his obvious skill in all matters mechanical. Having honed his craft, Dean then left to become one of the technicians instrumental in setting up the UK’s only Lamborghini authorised service centre, right at the introduction of the Gallardo and Murcielago to the UK market. Upon completing his factory training courses for Lamborghini, Dean has become one of very few technicians who can claim to be qualified for both of the premier Italian marques. Having his expertise in our workshop allows us to tackle all aspects of your supercar requirements, from a carburettor tune on your Countach, to a clutch replacement on your Murcielago, there is nothing that Dean can’t handle. You will find Dean is only to happy to discuss your requirements, and can be contacted through the service reception on 0208 543 4321Stuart EverittTechnicianComing from a franchised dealer background, Stuart is one of the key team members in ensuring our smooth transition during the implementation of the processes and systems that Land Rover demand before we are granted official status. His view points and opinions, along with his wealth of experience provide a stable hand for our fellow team members who have not had the benefit of his franchised past.Once he’d completed his apprenticeship at BMW, where he specialized in the legendary Motorsport models, he took up a role at an independent BMW specialist where he spent a further 5 years honing his craft on the Bavarian marque. Stuart states that his aim at work is to maintain a high level of quality and service in all that he is tasked, and he is looking forward to the challenge of learning the Land Rover product, and working on the prestige cars that we see regularly. As part of our technician team,Stuart is only too happy to discuss your service requirements in person upon drop off or collection of your vehicle. Sam BurnsTechnical ApprenticeSam is our apprentice, and as such is learning his craft from the very beginning. As with any apprentice scheme, it is vital to provide the right background and support to enable the correct environment for growth and development, but this should not stop when the 3 year course has finished. We believe that a good technician should constantly be developed and trained on all aspects of the vehicles we expect to see, from Land Rover to Lamborghini, Fiat to Ferrari. The enthusiasm for personal development is created at the very beginning of a technician’s career, and the way in which it is managed sets the tone for their willingness to continue, which is why we promote self development and support any technicians request to further their knowledge, and this is why Sam’s development is being closely monitored to make sure he gets the maximum from his training. Sam is only too happy to meet customers and discuss all of your vehicle requirements. Please feel free to contact him through the Service Reception on 0208 5434321, or email him on service@wimbledon4x4.com
